I miss the city. I miss the flow of peoples' strides and the distracted yet focused look everyone has. I have a picture like this from times sq, but from the evening. I'm gonna send it to you.

Now that you mention the subway... when i went to russia and took the metro in moscow, the other girls i was with complained about the smell, and i just took a deep breath in and said "ahhh... smells like home..."

The Moscow Metro happens to be an underground palace and is extremely efficient, clean and opulent..
My next post is about the subway experience..
