bitter tips
If one can take some kind of metaphysical magnifying glass and direct it at the very tip of the tongue.
Oh, how many unspoken words cling to the edge there?
Unsent Letters...
missed opportunities
strewn about...
Haphazardly
Uncrossed Ts
Lying cross
.....tease
Is it any wonder then...
...that it’s the very tip that tastes..
everything bitter..
?

interesting observation...
Bitter is not at the tip...
...sweet is.
Salty is on the front sides,
sour's on the back sides...
...bitter is all the way in the very, very back...
Maybe that's why - perhaps Hashem doesn't want it at the forefront of our minds - or even our subconsciousness.
We need to look at the positive first... and the negative is ...well, maybe just an afterthought. If something is at the back of your tongue, it's right before you swallow. How often do you roll something around in your mouth all the way on the back of your tongue? Bitter is the last character of the sense of taste to be experienced - and I think it's best that way.
dreamer...

I just conducted a test..and salty was at the tip..
sweet was at the back..
Maybe our tongues are different..

If I'm not mistaken, recent studies have proven that we taste all flavors with all of our tastebuds. But great post regardless

But a simple test in your kitchen will prove that there are definitely zones on your tongue..that taste primary tastes...
