Has this ever happened to you?

Seductive computer voice:To access your account please press 3

My Finger:3

Seductive computer voice:Please enter your account number..

My Finger:4477980000321237

Seductive computer voice:Please enter your Merchant Number..

My Finger:523988730098678801

Seductive computer voice:Please hold for a customer representative...

UNseductive human voice:Hi Mr. Lake..Can I please get your account number?

Me: Where on earth have all these number been going???

UNseductive human voice:Uhh what numbers?

So after a number of inquiries this is what I found. The banks and credit card companies have a secret agreement with some secretive firm that somehow figured out how to convert numbers into energy. And so all these numbers that you’re pressing are being diverted to a huge underground facility somwhere in the Nevada desert and converted to energy..

Yup...you heard it here first..

Lol. Once heard a joke where a guy annoyed at having to do what you did, when he actually spoke to a live person, he answered the operators questions by pushing numbers non-stop. Sweet revenge!

Hey! This is *really* good news!! To think of all of the wasted moments of frustration! When, instead,...to just realize!...we've all been contributing to this bigger thing! David, I always knew I was on to something by lending an ear your way!! You're a genius for figuring this out!!!
(big smile) This rocks!

It's also a really good suppliment to a diet plan. Pushing all those little buttons really burns a substantial amount of calories...

actually, the purpose of getting you to enter all those numbers is simply to occupy your mind by giving you something to do while you wait for the representative. This pychologically accomplishes the purpose of not making your wait feel as long and tedious, which leaves you with a better opinion towards the company in question.
