I can't remember ever being afraid. Of anything.
Until now.
We should all be safe and secure. We should have the bitachon to dimiss the fear, for man cannot win unless G-d wills it so. We should empower ourselves by turning to the only source of safety. HaShem should open your lips so that you may praise Him with your words.
I think everything sounds scarier when you're not there.
When I was in Israel during the intifada, my friends and I were quite calm, but those outside the holy land were in an uproar.
though it could just me that we were in sem and not paying attention to anything...
