Shhhh calm down...
The cars all packed..
Ready to go..
Perfect time
For Sruly to have a temper tantrum
The difficult child...
Crying..screaming..
We wait..and wait..
Until we cant anymore..
Then the Totty..picks him up..
Writhing..and pushing..
Holds him tight..
shhhh calm down..
He whispers..
Out of control...
Tiiight..
LET GOOOO
His face mangled puffy wet..angry..
LETTTTTT...GOOOOO OOOFFF MEEEEEEE
Knocks his glasses off
I HHHAAAATTTEEE YYYOOOUUU
Hoarse and harsh..
Father just squeezes tighter...
Breathing hard..
Shhhh
Shhhh
Suddenly..little ..Sruly
Loses energy..
Whimpers...
Goes limp
Sleepy
Nuzzles into his Tottys neck..
Who kisses his forhead
And lays him down..
Shhhhh
Shhhhh
Nachamu
Nachamu

Ok...3 days..No comments
I'm sensing some definite "seriousness" fatigue here..
lol
Aww, listened to your Bocelli yesterday, which figured to be so random... we had just been singing it and trying to remember the words to it on Shabbat, and then you had it so sweetly posted.
Trying to remember the words..The Italian words..?
Cultured family u got there..I'm impressed
not fam. thought friends are family too. even random stranger friends.

"randomness is the spice of life"
David on the Lake
amazing!
you have such a way of capturing emotions, so subtly but really powerfully. i got such goosebumps reading that.
i think it's so important to be aware of the "let go of me, i hate you" feelings cuz, theyre there and awareness is the onyl way we can learn to deal with them. we dont want to keep pushing away the One who cares for us the most.. but sometimes it's just too intense..too hard.. too frustrating..
thank G-d He knows us better than we know ourselves..
David, this was just so precious, I could downright picture it. A dank, tottele.
m00kie...
ah..finally...someone gets whats going on here..
Thanks..
fashionista..

tottele?..I havent been called that in awhile..lol
hey!
I go away for one week, and you've got all these new posts...
And all fantastic. Classic David.
ain't we all that way sometimes? to our parents, to our siblings, to our teachers... to G-d.
we think we're protesting against something negative, think somethings taken away when in reality, we're being carried...
and isn't it hard on the father?
:(
