I LOVE the stories. All of them!
My absolute favorites....The 5:20 from Rava-Russka and The Red Scarf.
There's so much to love...
There's depth in the stories... I love the Red Scarf, Strange Woman in my Room, and Change of Heart.
There's feeling in the poetry... Be Still My Heart is hauntingly beautiful; Glasswalls, Marriage is powerful; Trends is a whimsical satire on our self images...while the Artist Must Suffer is an introspective piece on how and why you do what you do... Cold Turkey spoke to me on so many levels...i felt like it was written for me! One Last Glance evoked a wishful nostalgia when i read it...
And we got to know you through all the essays over the last couple of years. The humor, the unique perspective, the intelligence behind it all...mixes together for a very satisfying read.
