David , i really loved it . I will second eve , u left the melody and the vocals flow , it was a pleasure listening to the song. Keep up the good work.
You know I like simple..in writing..in music...in architecture.. Especially in music it's very tempting to embellish. But I'm finding that in Jewish music there is so much excess fat in the songs. When an arranger sits down to write the music around the song he should make a solemn commitment to serve "the song" ie the melody and the song only. And so does "the song" really need that shticky intro? Does the low part have to be sung 4 times? The musical arrangements has to lift the song in its arms..and move it along...give it energy and hold it aloft. Nothing else. And with our shorter attention spans I think 2 minute songs are the way to go..short satisfying and leaving you hungry for more...instead of skipping to the next song halfway in.
i personally like when when a song makes you want to sing it over and over... from the heart... i think songs - sung for long - help attention spans :) {made that up... of course.}

gorgeous!
i see a definite improvement in the handling of the vocals and instruments.
i like the way you left the song in its simplest form, with as little embellishments as possible.
