I'm amazed at the level of dedication that addicts require to stay sober.. You're never a "recovered" alcoholic..you're always recovering.. You're always going to support groups and on guard for the triggers that make you crave a drink..
I think with averos it needs to be the same way...to some degree. Our habits are so deeply ingrained and our reward and pleasure neurons so well worn that intense motivation is needed and then dedication that is day in day out...
yes but remember that post you wrote about 'sur meira veaseh tov'? i've always kept that in mind... how does it tie in with always being a recovering sinner,..
