God is....

People travel all over the world looking for God.
They climb mountains and seek guide doGs.
People peruse books and search secret tomes for the elusive God.
When all this time He's been hiding in broad daylight..
And we push him away..and bludgeon Him to death.
Look around.
Turn on that little switch in your soul..that will open your eyes.
And you'll see.
God is....

Yes. All other people.
People are comprised of a soul and ego. The soul is a piece of god. If people would only see that when they look at other people.
The only way to do that is by being able to see others shortcomings subjectively. They'd see that all the evil in others are really misguided attempts at protecting themselves. They might actually have some compassion for the inflated ego that is stuck in toxic cycles of poor and harmful actions because that's the only way they've ever known.
And when the others ego is suddenly not so big and threatening anymore. When it has become the object of compassion instead of scorn and contempt you'll be able to see God hiding within.
It's a bit of a play on Sartre who said Hell is other people.
Huis Clos? One of my favorite plays, but you're twist on it is a bit of a stretch that is, If you believe in G-od
The reason why the 3 characters in the play find other people to be hell is precisely because they are stuck in ther self centered cycle. I guess because theyre dead they cannot change themselves.
So they look to each each other to serve their selfish needs while those that they look do are busy looking to them for their own selfish needs.
But we have the ability to look past our own fears and egos and see past others fears and egos and find the spiritual hidden inside everyone
