sometimes when lstening to sefira music

sometimes when listening
...to sefira amusic
to the spittle ridden
beat boxing..desperate
...attempts
I feel like..at any moment
...every sage that ever lived
will burst from their grave
and shout to the
....ends of the earth
along with a BasKol

FINE!
..listen to music DAMMIT!!

Lol. I like this. I forgot about the no music thing. And btw, although it is referred to as 'sefirah' music, technically sefirah is only the 7 weeks between Pesach and Shavuos. This is just mourning music.

But I believe 'goyish' music doesn't count. So says I.

this is so funny!didn't know you had in you :)

I remember asking a shailah saying that I needed it for my morale and that anyway most songs weren't' all that "happy", I got a big no, and was angry for weeks (went to eat an ou chalav stam ice cream as "revenge".

My rav says that anyone who is a yareh shamayim wont listen to all the A Capella music that is out now- the ones that are so good they should be assur.

Yes, jusdaism is a religion of loopholes..but at the end of the day who do you think your fooling?

Altie -(from Xena?)

It's not really revenge so much as if they make such a big deal about music and we must eat only parve or milk products for 9 days, well then I'm was going to enjoy what is permitted even though ordinarily I think I would've picked a cholov Yisrael ice cream.

The Rav in the 4th comment is looking like a zealot to me, what's next can't hum to yourself anymore during the 3 weeks?

No, that's actually my name.

Who are 'they' whom you refer to? Yes, maybe the Rabannim help bring forth the laws, but remember Who they actually come from.
