Heppy Tenksgiving

Hey...Mom
If every day is Thanksgiving Day why am I shlepping to work every day?

So I give thanks today..

To all those that have enriched my life and been there for me...
Thank You

All those that walk in this neck of the woods while my trees fall...thanks for ensuring they make a sound...
I hope no one gets hurt..

Thank you for joining me in this magnificent journey of discovering me and you and this enigmatic yet awesome world we live in...

I just wish the Pilgrims had stumbled upon duck instead of turkey...

But then we would say "Quack" instead of "Gobble Gobble"

How quaint would that be?

Female turkeys don't say gobble gobble. Only the males. Weird huh? Females click and males gobble. Just like humans.

Beautiful. A guy with such an attitude deserves a good 'shtikle fleish'. Regardless of brand.

Well I am happy not to have duck. Duck-- at least my dear husband's very expensive, fresh-killed variety-- tend to scare me a bit because I never know if it is going to be the liver-flavored variety or of the fowl variety. Truth be told i am scared to eat when he cooks.

Turkey is way better, roasted or in soup.
Besides I love the occasional hubbub that it's not kosher.
