We all have freedom of choice. We're just not always aware of it and are sometimes afraid of that fact..
I'll give you an extreme example to illustrate my point.. You're in your car at a red light and there's a pedestrian crossing in front of you. You have the ability to push the gas pedal and kill this person. Do you have the freedom to? The consequences are huge so we push aside the fact that yes...you have the absolute freedom of choice right now..to kill that person. So the lack of freedom..is not in the freedom to press on the gas pedal and lurch forward..its in the full belief that we actually have that freedom.
Or take someone with a compulsive behavior. At the time of action..it truly feels like they have no freedom of choice and THEY have to give in to their impulse. At that point it might very well be true..because they don't truly BELIEVE that they possess that freedom of choice.
So the freedom to choose...needs to be executed way before the point of action. There needs to be a full and complete belief that one does indeed possess that awesome power. And most people tend to look away from that because it complicates their agendas.
