Love

In honor of the first day of spring..dedicated to my wife...

Love
Like small seeds
Sometimes needs
To be placed within
Some dirt to begin
Its journey
upward
The primal earth
Develops
Envelops
Your everything
Your very being
It does grow
Often slow
Colors concealed
suddenly
............. Revealed

then
Winter comes
Flowers die
Icy patches..
Underground
Patient
Lie the seeds
The bulbs
The memories
Don’t let it freeze
Love will blossom
Again

Wow.

If you're someone that truly feels and acts upon what you write, then your wife is truly fortunate.

well...this poem is not a reflection of anything I do..

Its a reflection of relationships..the ups and downs...and the belief even when this seem to be frozen...it will blossom again..if the seeds are right.

swfm...

Stunning!

You have such a keen appreciation for everything so many take for granted.
